Our website runs on servers of RAIDBOXES GmbH. In order to ensure the DSGVO compliant handling of your data by RAIDBOXES, we have concluded a corresponding ADV contract.

social plugins

We offer you the possibility of using so-called “social media buttons” on our website. For the protection of your data, we rely on the “Shariff” solution for implementation. This means that these buttons are integrated on the website merely as a graphic, which contains a link to the corresponding website of the button provider. By clicking on the graphic, you will be forwarded to the services of the respective provider. Only then will your data be sent to the respective provider. If you do not click on the graphic, there will be no exchange between you and the social media button providers. Information about the collection and use of your data in the social networks can be found in the respective terms of use of the respective providers. You can find more information about the Shariff solution here: http://www.heise.de/ct/artikel/Shariff-Social-Media-Buttons-mit-Datenschutz-2467514.html

We have integrated the social media buttons of the following companies on our website:

Embedded YouTube videos

On some of our websites we embed Youtube videos. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection is established to Youtube servers. This tells Youtube which pages you visit. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, Youtube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your Youtube account first.

If a Youtube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.

If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program, you will not have to expect such cookies when watching YouTube videos. However, Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in the browser.

Further information on data protection at “Youtube” can be found in the provider’s privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

contact forms

If you contact us by e-mail or contact form with regard to questions of any kind, you give us your voluntary consent for the purpose of contacting us. For this purpose, a valid e-mail address is required. This serves to assign the inquiry and to answer it afterwards. The indication of further data is optional. The information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry and for possible follow-up questions. Personal data will be automatically deleted after the completion of your inquiry.

Newsletter

With the newsletter we inform you about us and our offers.

On the basis of your expressly given consent, we will send you our newsletter regularly by e-mail to your specified e-mail address.

To receive the newsletter, it is sufficient to enter your e-mail address. If you register to receive our newsletter, the data you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. Subscribers can also be informed by e-mail about circumstances that are relevant to the service or registration (for example, changes to the newsletter offer or technical conditions).

For an effective registration we need a valid e-mail address. In order to verify that a registration is actually made by the owner of an e-mail address, we use the “double opt-in” procedure. For this purpose we log the ordering of the newsletter, the sending of a confirmation mail and the receipt of the hereby requested answer. Further data is not collected. The data will be used exclusively for sending the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. There is a corresponding link in every newsletter. You can also unsubscribe at any time directly on this website or inform us of your request via the contact option at the end of this privacy policy.

Google Fonts

In order to display our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) on this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to the cache of your browser to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Web Fonts or prevents access, content will be displayed in a default font.

Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. It is theoretically possible – although it is currently unclear whether and for what purposes – that the operators of such libraries collect data.

The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Event distribution

We use the Eventbrite service to manage our own paid events. Eventbrite thus processes personal data of our ticket buyers on behalf of the Digital Hub Region Bonn AG. This is done in compliance with DSGVO, which is documented in the following data processing supplement

https://www.eventbrite.de/support/articles/de/Troubleshooting/datenverarbeitungsnachtrag-fuer-veranstalter

Duration of storage:

The data collected by the Digitaler Hub Region Bonn AG will only be stored for the duration of its necessity and exclusively in the interest of the data owner. In the case of contact data, this means that the data is deleted as soon as the request has been processed and no continuation of the contact is desired.

Change of our data protection regulations

We reserve the right to adapt this data protection declaration so that it always meets the current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when introducing new services. The new data protection declaration then applies to your renewed visit.

The data protection declaration was created with the data protection declaration generator of activeMind AG.
