The "Innovationsbrücke Mittelstand – Collaborations for the Future" is a joint funded project of DigitalHub Bonn and the University of Bonn. The project is co-financed by the EU (European Regional Development Fund, ERDF) and the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
The Innovationsbrücke Mittelstand supports small and medium-sized businesses free of charge and in a vendor-neutral way as they work on challenges from their everyday business. Together with our project staff and experts from the University of Bonn, you develop new ideas and solution approaches and then implement them directly in your company.
You come to us with a question or a challenge from your everyday business. Together, we define the question in concrete terms and then search for researchers with matching expertise. We bring you together with the researchers and support the entire matching process. Together with the researchers, you work on your challenge and find solution approaches that you can then implement in your company. To inspire other SMEs and share the knowledge gained, we publish a short project report on the approach.
Thanks to funding from the State of North Rhine-Westphalia as part of the ERDF program, all offerings of the Innovationsbrücke Mittelstand are free of charge for SMEs.
Feel free to get in touch, with no obligation, with our project lead Lisa Buschan or our SME manager Malte Gooß. We are happy to discuss your individual needs and the approach tailored to them.
The duration of the project depends on the challenge you would like to work on. A project usually runs for several months. It is important to us to keep the time required from you as low as possible. Based on our experience so far, you should expect to spend about one working day per month on active involvement in the project.
